Today was an early start which felt even earlier because I didn't get home til late last night. I drove out to Surrey this morning to go to the 2012 Apologetic conference. It was really interesting and had a lot of great speakers. Two of my favorite speakers were Mary Jo Sharp and Dr. Paul Copan. Mary Jo talked about how to open a dialogue with an athesist. To Listen, Question, Respond, and Know. She brought up a lot of good points and even some common sense ones that people often forget. The seconds speaker I really liked was Dr. Paul Copan. His topic was "Is God a Moral Monster?" It was really interesting and made me really think. I drove back to Chilliwack in the evening and went to a friends house to act out a murder mystery game with a group of us. It was really fun. I had never done one before but I was great, I'd do it again sometime. We made it kind of a long evening but it was fun just the same. Before heading to bed I remembered to turn my clocks one hour ahead so that we can spring forward into day light savings time.
