Today was pretty great. K and I drove up to Manning to go snowboarding. It was a beautiful day and there was so much powder it was crazy. After a run we decided to take a break and go the lodge for a snack. We ended up talking for quite a while and then decided since we were quite tired from the super long run and it had been a free day anyways that we would head home. We just both weren't feeling like doing more runs and the drive up was so nice it made for an excellent trip either way. We talked some more on the way back home and then stopped for lunch at Ricki's when we arrived back in town. K dropped me off at home after lunch and then I worked on typing up a few things for my baptizm video that was being recorded that evening. I arrived at the church offices at 7pm and took about 20 minutes to do the video. It actually was really easy and not as frightening as I thought it might be. I'm not really a fan of public speaking so I wasn't expecting to love this part but it was fairly painless all in all. After the video I went down to Kid's City and joined everyone for high school youth. We talked and listened to Jesse's message about relationships and friendships before playing a couple rounds of pictionary. It was pretty hilarious, especially when you have to draw with your eyes closed for some of them. After youth we cleaned up and then I headed home. Before heading to bed I went to my parent's and helped my dad plan his next accounting 11 class that he has later this week. He's paying me for my time to help him so that's kinda a nice bonus.
