Free Snowboarding. Feb 6

Today was fabulous. I went to work and the day past by nice and smoothly. After work I went home for a short nap and to get my stuff ready for snowboarding. K came by and picked me up at 4:30 and we headed out to Seymour with our free passes for a evening of snowboarding and fun. Usually I snowboard and she skies but we realized when we got there that she had forgotten her ski boots and the rental place wouldn't just rent her ski boots. So instead she decided to rent snowboarding stuff and try it out. We started on the bunny hill and the first run she was getting really frusterated because she was having a hard time standing up and staying up. By the second run she was getting the hang of it and feeling better about it. We did one more run before taking a break at the lodge where we entered a raffle draw and I won a tuque and a hat. It was pretty great. When we were done getting warm and taking a break we headed back to the bunny hill and got in three more runs before we were done for the night. Not only were we feeling done but it was also the last run before they closed. On the way home we stopped in Langely at a Starbucks for our drinks and blasted Hillsong the rest of the drive home. It was a fantastic evening but by the time I got home I was ready to hit the hay. Never loved the sight of my bed so much.
