The work day wasn't to bad. It went by at a fairly speedy pace. After work I went to the Main Street campus of PCC to work with Kim on the Kid's City props and designs for this next month theme. I had built two little cars out of cardboard boxes and she had purchased a bunch of race car themed supplies for us to create with. I painted the two "cars" and added headlights and wheels, two hours later they were complete. The painting took several layers on each car because they were made out of cardboard and it tended to soak up the first coat and not cover that well. By the third layer it was looking good. I painted one red and one blue. Then turned out pretty good considering they were cardboard boxes to start with. Kim asked if I'd be interested in doing a week or two a month with the small groups on Sunday mornings at the Main Street campus. She told me what was involved and what I would need to do. I agree that two weeks a month at the Main Street campus would work into my schedule, which still allows me to attend the 9am service at Hillside earlier in the morning. Around 5:30 I headed home, stopping to grab a subway sandwich for dinner first. I laid around for a bit when I got home and then remembered that I promised Lis that I would make her 2 dozen cupcakes for her class tommorow. So I baked the cupcakes and then set them out to cool. I decided I would ice them first thing in the morning before I headed to work. I did 30 minutes of wii fit while the cupcakes were baking and then around 10:30 decided to call it a night. I was excited for Friday to arrive because J and I are going to Seymour after work to go night snowboarding. Yeah! So excited!
