Church and snowboarding. Jan 15

Today was a terrific one. This morning I slept in a little later than usual. Then I got ready and went to the 10:30 Main Street service. I sat with J, K and M. The service and the worship were totally terrific. Jay lead worship. Shawn preached his second service of his series on the Holy Spirit. It's a totally amazing topic. Are you open to allowing the Holy Spirit to enter and reside in you? Deep questions. After the service I stop and grabbed a subway sandwich before heading over to Jay's to meet him and J and load up his car to head out to Seymour for the day. We arrived at the mountain around 2pm and shortly after that were starting our first run down the mountain. The wait lines at the ski lifts were a little long at first but by the fourth run they were much shorter. Around 5pm we called it a day cause J had to be back in town at 6pm to pick up her kids. We ended up getting in 7 runs and all in all it was pretty great. I got home at 6:30 and got changed and then K came by and picked me up for a service at Christian Life Assembly's 7:30 service. It was amazing, great message and equally great worship team. Afterward we stopped by a Starbucks got our drinks and the cranked the Phil Wickham and Hillsong music all the way back home. For me it was a pretty amazing day. I went to bed feeling fantastic. I am so blessed to have such great friends and live in a country that not only allows me to freely worship my God but also has such amazing beauty and thrilling mountains to snowboard.
